you say you want a revolution..?

You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don't you know that you can count me out
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
all right, all right

You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We'd all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We're all doing what we can
But when you want money
for people with minds that hate
All I can tell is brother you have to wait
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
all right, all right
Ah

ah, ah, ah, ah, ah...

You say you'll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head

You tell me it's the institution
Well, you know
You better free you mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao
You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
all right, all right
all right, all right, all right
all right, all right, all right

my ears just recently bumped through these waves a few days ago, so I re-included it(along with other beatles faves) into my playlist.

I kinda see this song to be very relevant today. It actually is saying that we can all do our part for something that the masses want, but we must be careful on up to what extent we are willing to help, since it can also bring out something negative for the solution that we were fighting for...

just a thought...

I seem very rusty when it comes to writing blogs...

must be the result of the very unofficial hiatus XD

Hatred

Hatred is a dangerous emotion, hate itself can destroy countless lives and make them miserable and annoyed.
It is dangerous because one false word or action can lead to this feeling. In that stage it is where the feelings are cramped inside of a person, and have no idea how to take it out. Hatred is one feeling that's building inside of a person. Comparing to other emotions, Hatred is the one consuming a person's whole being. How can one mere emotion destroy a lifestyle, simple being abused or bullied. Being abused not just physically, but emotionally as well, this are the factors why hatred is a common thing for people who were humiliated and put down by somebody. The day a person associated with this emotion is the day that it changed a person's personality drastically. People who don't/can't fight back or answer back because of groups who are associated with the word "popular" "jocks".
In this sense, people who were not associated with this words, were usually called outcasts, weirdos, loners, nerd, geek whatever they call it. So the so called "jocks" "popular" have the power to trample this people, who have done nothing wrong but live their normal lives. So the hate builds up because of this labels. In doing that, it can become a vengeful act because of the selfish things just to put someone down and make them feel inferior.
This is just a warning for someone who likes bullying or abusing people who doesn't want to fight back.
This is just an opinion

Buhay ay parang ice skating

Buhay ay parang ice skating

paikot-ikot.....

Ika-9 ng Hulyo

Isang gabing pagkalambing-lambing
Ikaw ay yakap ko
Sa loob ng iyong mga bisig
Ayaw nang lumayo

Naaalala mo pa ba
Ang Awit ng Saya?
Eh ang "Accidentally In Love"?
Kabisado mo pa ba?

Ang ihip ng hangin
sadyang nag-iba
Ba't ba ako nandito?
Ngayo'y nag-iisa

Mahirap man tanggapin
Mahirap mang isipin
Hanggang kaibigan na nga lang ba
Ang tingin mo sa akin?

Ako ay aminado
Ika'y mahal pa rin
Di na yata mawawala
Itong pigil na damdamin

Sa huling pagkakataon
Hayaan mong aking sabihin
Mahal na mahal kita
Nakaraa'y wag mo sanang limutin

RPG

Dear Japs,
Namula ako noon at nahiya.

"I like you," ang sabi mo. Imposible.

Oo, nakapagmove-on na ako.

Cha-Cha or Tango?

**The following article was taken from onevoice.org.ph. Do we really need a charter change?

WE DON'T NEED THE PROPOSED CHARTER CHANGE.
WE NEED REAL CHANGE.

(A proposal to address the political impasse)

Why we are speaking out now

We are a non-partisan movement of citizens who are very concerned about the political developments in our country since EDSA I and more recently in the aftermath of the 2004 elections. We see our country divided when we should be united around peaceful and democratic processes. Many of us have not participated in rallies and demonstrations for or against the President. Some of us have joined street protests. But all of us agree that most of the solutions that have so far been offered to address the political situation appear to serve personal or group interests more than the common good, and even endanger rather than strengthen our democratic institutions. The latest of these "solutions" is the "people's initiative" to shift from a presidential system with a bicameral legislature to a parliamentary system with a unicameral legislature.

For our people, many of whom are poor, it is often not clear how these political alternatives will make a difference in their lives. We are concerned that there is a growing alienation, even distrust, of our democratic institutions and of our national leaders, in and out of government. The future of our democracy itself may be at stake, and it will take all of us, speaking out together, if we are going to be heard.

Our Proposal

We propose a 5-step process through the following:

1. Discontinuance of the present "people's initiative";
2. A social reform program now;
3. Elections in 2007 as scheduled, as an indirect referendum, and electoral reform now;
4. If necessary, a constitutional convention (not a "con-ass") after the 2007 elections, and
5. A collective effort to rebuild the trustworthiness of our democratic institutions.

First, discontinue the present Initiative -- We appeal to the proponents of the people's initiative, especially the President, to please rethink this move. Not only is it questionable as a genuine "people's initiative" but in the context of our current political culture and structure, the kind of parliamentary system being proposed will tend to worsen the concentration of political power in the country.

Legally flawed. The Initiative is a divisive exercise that has very little chance of being legally upheld. The Supreme Court has already said that there is no adequate enabling law to support an Initiative to amend the Constitution. We also share the opinion of legal experts that, even if there were, a drastic overhaul of the political structure of government is a "revision" that is not contemplated by the Constitution as subject to an Initiative.

Based on fallacious and deceptive reasoning. We are told by its proponents that the shift to a parliamentary system will open the doors to political stabilityeconomic prosperity. This despite the lack of conclusive empirical evidence to show that such a form of government is the answer to our specific problems. On the contrary, studies that attempt to explain the complex issue of growth differentials among countries cite government policies as the most relevant factors for the differentials. The form of government, whether parliamentary or presidential, is not indicated as a material factor. There are countries that are doing better or worse than ours which happen to have a parliamentary system.

Moreover, when all the political implications of the proposed shift is examined in the context of the relatively high concentration of political power in Philippine society today, our citizens will come to a disturbing conclusion -- that the shift to the proposed parliamentary system will result in even more power to those who already have it, with the following:

1. Taking away from the people their power to directly vote for President - and leaving the Parliament to choose the Prime Minister from among themselves;
2. Fusing the Executive and Legislative as well as the two chambers of Congress into a unicameral parliament (to also include cabinet members with a portfolio) thus removing certain systemic checks and balances of the presidential system and resulting in more political domination by the ruling party;
3. Authorizing an Interim Parliament to introduce more amendments (followed by yet another plebiscite), some of which may not even be known to the people today. Once the cha-cha train assumes plenary powers, with something for everyone, it will be difficult to stop. It can even amend the Transitory Provisions themselves and extend its own life and the terms of national and local government officials beyond 2010. Other amendments contemplated intend to:
a) Weaken the Supreme Court, which would remain as the principal check and balance to a powerful parliament, by (i) removing its power and duty to review the sufficiency of the factual basis for declaring martial law, (ii) increasing the vote required to declare unconstitutional a presidential decree or executive order, among others, from a majority to a 2/3 vote, and (iii) removing its power and duty to determine whether or not there has been grave abuse of discretion on the part of any branch or instrumentality of government.
b) Restore the power of the President to declare martial law on "imminent danger" of rebellion -- a phrase which President Marcos used to declare martial law.

Many other claims of the proponents of the Initiative are not borne out by the facts. For instance, the claim that the economic provisions of the Constitution on land ownership, public utilities, natural resources, media and advertising have closed the doors to beneficial foreign direct investment (FDI). Not only has the 1987 Constitution proven to be resilient to the demands of the times but surveys of foreign investors repeatedly show that the critical factors to FDI are infrastructure, human capital, quality of policies and stability of the regulatory framework, peace and order, among others. Nowhere is amending the economic provisions considered among the really critical.

Businessmen proponents say, "if it is possible to do so, because we are opening up the Constitution to amendments anyway, why not?" But introducing amendments just because every other interest group intends to is precisely the reason why we should think more deeply about the consequences of opening up our fundamental law to amendments. It may well be that, because of the entrenched interests of those in power today, the provisions that really help the poor, such as the Social Justice provisions, will be the first victims of an "open season" on amendments.

We are open to a sober review of our Constitution, but we must look at it as something bigger than any individual or group interest, and that nothing can be so urgent as to rush any amendment, much more revision, without fully considering all its implications and consequences.

Second, a social reform program now.

Too many uncertainties and potential dangers are implied by the current hasty efforts to change the constitution. Yet there are real and urgent problems that confront our people on a daily basis. As part of the over-all approach, a social reform program can immediately be undertaken as a constructive bi-partisan effort to move forward Moreover, such a program, gives the greater number of our people, especially the poor, a bigger stake in our democracy, and increases the trustworthiness of our institutions and politicians.

There is nothing in our present system that prevents our national leaders from addressing social reform immediately because the principles are already embodied in Article XIII (on Social Justice) and related provisions of the 1987 Constitution. The components of this agenda, which the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council can agree to enact through specific legislation, if necessary, and which all parties can agree to implement as a non-partisan agenda, regardless of who is in power, may include:

1. Legislation to provide strong safety nets for the poor with market liberalization, which were promised to the people and covered by congressional resolutions but were never legislated nor implemented, especially in the areas of education, health, housing, employment, and food security. Likewise, strict implementation of environmental laws and, with respect to agrarian reform, the provision of support services, especially credit, as well as effective police security to beneficiaries to fulfill the vision of rural development.
2. A serious and sustained campaign against graft and corruption with appointments to and support for the agencies in the forefront of the campaign, such as the Office of the Ombudsman, the Commissions on Audit, Civil Service, and Elections. A transparent and public system of nomination for these positions should be formally instituted.
3. Legislation for greater political empowerment such as amendments to the party-list law to make it possible to reach the 20% representation in Congress of party-list representatives prescribed by the Constitution, the enactment of a law to implement the constitutional provisions on anti-dynasty and sectoral representation in the local sanggunians, the amendment of the absentee voting law to enable wider participation of Filipinos abroad, anti-turncoat legislation, and others.

At the heart of this program should be an unequivocal orientation towards a better life for all. It must set in place a system that would develop and nurture leaders with a strong sense of the common good, integrity, nationalism, and competence. Pockets of growth and development, especially at the community or local government levels, while good in themselves, can only go so far. These can be made lasting only when supported by a national system that promotes the same values for growth and development, accompanied by justice and equity.

Third, elections in 2007 as scheduled, as an indirect referendum, and electoral reform now.

The 2007 congressional and local elections should be held as scheduled. This is a constitutional mandate.

We do not agree with those who say that there was closure with the dismissal of the impeachment complaint last year. But neither do we agree with those who say that the dismissal has closed the door to any closure. Both miss the point of the accountability system in our Constitution - in a democracy, the terminal point in that system is the vote of its citizens. That is why the holding of the 2007 elections is non-negotiable. And why both the administration and the opposition should work together, if not on anything else, then on electoral reform. A credible 2007 elections can become an indirect referendum on the issue of whether the President should serve her full term, depending on how people choose their congressmen and senators, and how those elected exercise their mandate. Both sides should be willing to trust the people and their judgment as expressed in the election, regardless of the consequences to themselves. That is what democracy is all about.

As regards electoral reform, the presidential adviser on electoral reforms recommended as a priority the "revamp" of the Commission on Elections. That recommendation refers both to the commission itself and to the organization; and to a modernization program that is cost-effective and suitable to the problems of our system, for which the present automation law should be amended.

As a minimum, there must be at least four independent commissioners. Hence the importance of filling the last two vacancies in the Commission with persons of unquestioned integrity and competence. And competence must not be limited to "law". Because elections are more a matter of management, not of law - a fact recognized by the Constitution in requiring that only four of the seven commissioners must be lawyers, including the Chairman. There is an opportunity for the President and the Commission on Appointments, which share responsibility for the quality of the appointees, to strengthen the commission's capability in other disciplines necessary to modernize the system.

This administration should at least provide the conditions for a credible "indirect referendum" in 2007. Beyond that, any drastic overhaul of the Constitution should not take place until the people are convinced that the electoral system is totally trustworthy. Elections is a fundamental building block of any democracy. How can the administration, which has yet to deliver on a promise to modernize the electoral system by the 2004 elections, even talk about changes in the structure of government?

Fourth, if necessary, a constitutional convention (not a "con-ass") after the 2007 elections.

Because of the present climate of distrust and confrontation and the composition of those in political power, the best way to consider the merits of a major revision in our form of government, while allowed to be done by Congress, is through a Constitutional Convention, with a broad representation of Philippine society. And any decision to convene must be preceded by a massive education campaign and national dialogue. This is a process that cannot be rushed.

Changes by a "con-ass" will always be suspect. There are various interest groups promoting their own amendments which can be the subject of back-room dealings, political trade-offs, even corruption, because these will involve huge economic or political gains. In that kind of a process, where dealings can be done piecemeal like ordinary legislation and in private, the great majority of the people who are poor, will have no voice. A constitutional convention, on the other hand, is conducted in public and continuous proceedings before the full glare of media and public scrutiny.

Moreover, in the interest of transparency, any major change in political structure must be held after the 2007 elections and should not benefit those presently in power. If, however, there is found to be a need for specific provisions that can qualify as amendment (i.e. a run-off for president, block voting for president and vice-president, amending an economic provision) these can be done by Initiative, for which Congress must first pass an enabling law.

Fifth, a collective effort to rebuild trust in our democratic institutions, our leaders and in ourselves.

Governance is not only about how the president makes decisions or how the resources of a country are managed, it is also about our collective responsibility to solve our problems and meet society needs. Unfortunately, a preoccupation with the fate of one person sometimes distracts us from long-term institution-building.

Presidents come and go; but our institutions are our lifeline to the future. We must restore their trustworthiness and strengthen them. Even when our democracy is not in its best behavior, even when it is cumbersome and time-consuming, our democracy works. But we need to make it work better to make a difference in people's lives.

There are many more ways by which our leaders can help achieve this objective and thereby address the growing distrust of our democratic institutions, for as long as the common good is their primary objective and not political survival, continuance in office, or taking power for its own sake. For our part, we have an open mind to all proposals, including a review and possible amendments to or revision of our Constitution. If our leaders -- in government, in the opposition and in civil society - give us reasons to begin trusting them again, we can also begin to trust in one another and in ourselves as well.

[i] See for instance studies by Jeffrey Sachs
[ii] Some examples are: liberal interpretation of what constitutes capital for purposes of applying the limit of 40% foreign ownership in certain industries (SEC ruling on PLDT); legally allowed "supermajority" votes on key stockholder decisions (i.e. declaration of dividends); creative financial instruments (i.e. global depositary receipts); leases of up to 75 years on land; legislation like the condominium law on housing and, if passed into law, the proposed condominium law on industrial estates; redefinition of the boundaries of an industry (RA 9136 limits electric utilities to the "wires" business, thus allowing 100% foreign ownership in the generation and supply businesses); making the legal distinction between a franchise and a concession with respect to foreign participation in public utilities; judicial decisions (i.e. Mining Law). Moreover, technological developments have overtaken the "content" issue with respect to the 100% Filipino ownership in media by easy access to foreign programs, and in the case of print media, by the importation of foreign published newspapers or the reprint of foreign content in local newspapers under the freedom of the press provision.

Filipinos: Customers of Traditions

Philippine Psychology according to Wikipedia.org is mainly about the beliefs, customs and traditions of Filipinos. These beliefs involve the values and treatments, medical or not, that we may be continuing up to present-day. These beliefs, unfortunately or not, may stop as we continue to go through time, with much more hope in what technological know-how may bring.

The origins of our customs may be deeply rooted on what our foreign invaders have left for us. Most of them are based on the traditions of both the Americans and the Spaniards. Of course, these customs may have been gone by the time the foreigners have left our country but in the span of time they have stayed here must have let their beliefs linger. Still, we have our own beliefs that remain - protected or not.

We still have the values of yesterday's generations until today. We may not have them for much longer since we have been westernized too much - not only in our beliefs but also in almost everything else. Values that we continue to have are those that make us Filipinos wherever we are. "Pakikisalamuha", "pakikipagkapwa", and "kagandahang-loob" are only a few of what we still have and, for me, should continue to have and cherish. Foreigners would not have these customs embedded in them as much as they are in us. This, I believe, makes us lucky. We may be economically and financially disadvantaged but these beliefs makes us complete, being Filipinos.

Of course, not all of our customs are as virtuous. The Filipino value of "Bahala Na", "Pakikibaka", and "Utang na loob", for me, are a few debatable beliefs we have. The original meaning of the custom, "Bahala na", came from the phrase, "Bathalan na", which means "I will do my best, let God take care of the rest". Although, this belief had become an expression for those who are not ready to do much work, and those who let God handle everything else. This value may or may not be taken care of in Filipinos but it depends greatly on what people do or understand about it.

Not only are our values should we cherish or debate on. Traditions are also debatable. If I remember it correctly, there was a documentary in iWitness that was entitled, "Lukayo: Hindi Ito Bastos". After watching that documentary, I could not help but think that Filipinos are getting too westernized even through the Church. Lukayo is a tradition in Laguna that promotes fertility for newly-wed couples - it involves the sexual part of a man. It was part of the documentary that after a priest saw this tradition, he asked the people to stop. For me, this is like killing the Filipino tradition. I wonder much about why the Church would not promote our own tradition. It merely made me conclude that these people, the Spanish-based Church, are killing these traditions because they could not see the beauty of it. Amazingly, the Lukayo's purpose of this tradition is to promote fertility - something the Bible actually says.

Psychology in the Philippines is not the same as I see it in the Western countries. It does not focus much on how the brain works. It focuses more on what people in society do. I guess it focuses more on Social Psychology. It concentrates more on the customs and traditions of the society it is in.

Bananas in Pajamas

*May gumagamit ng kompyuter kaya old school muna ako. Haha. Edit na lang maya-maya o kung kailan man ako makapag-blog.*

Ako ngayo'y nanunuog ng "Bananas In Pajamas".

Isang lalaki at dalawang babae - sina Morgan, Amy at Lulu.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
[Naiisip mo ba ang naiisip ko?]
I think I am, B1/B2!
[Sa tingin ko nga, B1/B2!]
It's (insert idea here) time!

"Bananas in Pajamas are coming down the stairs
Bananas in Pajamas are chasing Teddy Bears

Pinuntahan niya ako doon at kinausap. Dinala niya ako sa canteen nila at dun siya nakipagbreak. Oo!

Ngayon, ako'y nangungulila at nagpupumilit

Bakit Artikulo?

Bakit kailangan pa ng Artikulo?
Mayroon namang sariling blog.
Bakit kailangang may itago?
Wala namang masamang magbunyag

Isa siyang mangagaya at wala yatang sariling pagiisip.
Subalit,
kung sa liwanag naman,
ay lagi ko siyang nikikita.
Bakit siya lagging nasa likuran ko?
Naroon kung saan ako magpunta.
Pero kung pagmamasadan kong maigi,
ako pala ang sarili mong anino.

On self-pity...

I've always been surrounded by a lot of GREAT people. Yes, great. Not good. Not bad. Great people.

I've always been jealous of their greatness. Their beauty. Their excellence in whatever they feel like doing.

I never thought of myself as great. Yes, I was good. Yes, I knew I could do anything I want to do... but never master any of it.

As someone has always told me, I am a jack of all trades, master of none.

How can I then live a normal life if I can't even master one skill? One talent? One... concept, even.

I have friends who write as if it's their life's work but master another...

I have friends who can draw, paint and do ART as if... it was their life's passion...

I have techno-geek friends who know how to use software I can't even dream of having in my crappy computer...

I'm studying an Animation course... but what do I know about it?

I watch cartoons but that was just about it. I can't do animation like Walt Disney or Nickelodeon approved! What good am I to study this course if I'm to have competition to a great extent?

I'm not saying I'm worthless... I'm just saying that I want to master a skill. I don't want to be a jack of all trades. I want to master something... anything.

I can't cook. Clean. Draw. Write. Fiddle with techno-stuff.

All I'm good for is.......

I can't think of anything...

What good am I?

Will I stay as a student, jobless?

Will I stay as a girlfriend who whines a lot but does nothing?

I don't want your advice. I don't want your sympathy. All I want is a realization... and I don't want it from you.

I've seen too much hypocrisy... yeah... probably that's it...

buong araw, sabog, bagsak.

puting kawal
kaibiganin ko nalang kaya sya?
masaya yun, parating may usok.
naks, special effects.

yosi muna tayo? ...ulit?

...ibon mang may layang lumipad...

On a really confusing day in my unfathomable reality, I tried to observe the different phenomenon and events in this world. Things such as my homeland’s squalid state and the people who settled with mediocrity. I hope I learned something from my observations…

My homeland’s history according to me…

Philippines, a country that used to have its own religion, leaders, beliefs and identity. Then the Spaniards came and colonized our country. We were treated like animals, we were degraded in our own country, as if we were slaves of our visitors. Then because of the Treaty of Paris, we were bought by the Americans from the Spaniards… we were like manufactured goods. Emilio Aguinaldo thought we were independent… and so did our ancestors but if they can predict the future, maybe they would know we're not. Then because of Hitler’s undeniable talent in oration, he convinced the Germans and other countries like Japan to colonize. The world was divided. Japan, a country who used to be power hungry, went to the Philippines disguised as our friends but it was only a scheme that they used. They brutally murdered our countrymen as if they were slaughtering animals. We fought. We won. Or so we thought.

People who thought that our country was worth dying for wasted their precious lives for our country’s sake. These people are those who acquired great sense of nationalism and patriotism. Jose Rizal, Andres Bonifacio, and Melchora Aquino are only few names of the people who truly cared for our country. Let us thank them… we wouldn’t be what we are right now without them.

Then the late dictator, Ferdinand Edralin Marcos made history. Like Hitler a very strategic and intelligent human being. Another prominent orator. The regime of Ferdinand Marcos was somewhat beneficial and detrimental to our country. He declared Martial Law on the 21st of September 1972. This act and the rest that goes with it prompted the EDSA Revolution in 1986, the REAL and ONLY People Power. Marcos was ousted. Cory won the mock election. Then Ramos won for presidency after Cory’s term. Then Joseph the 13th president had gone through an unfinished impeachment trial and GMA, the vice-president, took over as acting president. Erap never resigned, just for the record. After 3 years she vied for presidency as an incumbent president and went head to head with Fernando Poe Jr. Then in June 2005 a wiretapped conversation between GMA and a COMELEC official, allegedly Virgilio Garcillano, was exposed to the public by Ignacio Bunye, the president’s press secretary.

The “president” had been taking part in a lot of controversies… the wiretapped conversation, the jueteng scandal wherein her husband and eldest son were suspected of committing. A lot of Senate and Congress trials and debates went on and on 24/7 and it came to a point when they didn’t even sleep just to vote YES or NO.

It’s sad really when we see our country divided. Ms. President is calling for national unity which I think would be highly improbable if she would remain in her office. The dollar rates are improving, yes that’s true… but more than half of the Filipino people are unemployed and can’t even eat 3 meals in a day. Where’s the improvement there? Doesn’t the president notice the condition of the people she is supposed to be serving and she calls herself an economist? Isn’t she feeling guilty that more than half of the people she’s serving are living on the streets with no food to eat and she is living in a palace with caviars and expensive champagnes being served to her in one of her meals? She is obliged to serve us… she’s the president… and we are not obliged to serve her.

And now… she would be extending her term… yes… for a parliamentary form of government. I agree with the parliamentary form of government in our country... but with the same people in the seats in the parliament, I’d rather have a military takeover. Speaking of the military… they should serve us not the president.

Most of the things happening in our country aren’t good. We have erroneously set our priorities. We are still slaves up to now… not by foreigners but by ourselves. If our heroes were alive right now… they would have cursed us with all their might. Isn’t it sad that what they fought for became somewhat useless because of our power hungry attitude? I wonder why we Filipinos love seeing and watching other Filipinos fall… Why not help them stand up rather than watch them fall and laugh at them. What happened to the hospitable Filipino?

We need to change… and that change should take place right now. I know we can do it… we have lots of guts and talents within us. We shouldn’t be scared to show the world who we are. We still don't know what our future would be like but there's one thing I know... it depends on us, Filipinos.

–Jose Rizal.

Pedophilia...

Image hosting by TinyPic
Bakit my mga taong gumagawa nito?

On positive Thinking

To make your ideas turn into realities, don't forget to look at reality first.

Positive Thinking

Positive thinkers, or what we call optimistic people, seem to look at ideals first before they look at realities. Some optimistic people say they look at reality before making ideas and/or ideals. But it seems that their idea confuses me and makes me think in such deep thought. If you really are looking at the real things before making ideals, why does it seem you regret to see that there is a real hideous reality that we can't escape? I am a pessimist and I dare not question other people's thoughts but they just seem too vague.

There is a reality we have to face here. The world is merely crumpling to bits because of our own mistakes and mischief. It's something that would most probably come out of a pessimist's mouth, right? But isn't this also the reality we are enduring? To make things short, let's focus on the Philippine setting since that is mainly what I can view and criticize. Look at our water supply. It's about time we get some technologies from other countries so that we can have water clean enough to drink. But why won't we? It's because of the financial crisis we are facing. Now this starts another argument. Why are we having a financial crisis? Isn't it because some people are too selfish to even think of their countrymen that they can't even donate a single penny to the poor? Or are some people just plain corrupt that money is what makes their worlds go round? Yes, pessimistic, isn't it? But it seems optimistic people would want to think that these people are using our money to make projects such as roads and the like? That we have beautiful parks to look at and the like? But the real thing is there are no roads to look at. There is no fresh air that we can breathe. But still, we look at things positively. It's the way optimists think and it confuses me. Why can't they accept reality as much as pessimists can? I can't say there is a middle ground on this. They are contradictory ideas.

This confuses me even more. So does it mean that if you're a pessimist, you are more ready to accept the fact we experience now? Or are we merely lowering ourselves too much in a sense that the ideals and/or ideas of the optimists turn into a reality? I actually don't think so. Yes, it may seem that pessimists are more ready to face reality but are they ready to make ideas? And, are optimists ready to turn their ideas into realities? There's always the down side, right? But why is it that sometimes, optimists and pessimists argue whenever they do not understand each other's opinions? Optimists would say that pessimists are thinking too much of the down side of things; Pessimists would say otherwise. But aren't they both right? Both sides have an argument to say, and they are merely not helping each other out of their problems. Ironic. But still, isn't the sake of arguing and debating the reason we are living? It's it because of the imperfections of our life that makes us seek for perfection? Wouldn't that be the purpose of like? Therefore, our reason for living is partly to seek for arguments and hate? So in the contradiction of hate, which is love, we complete the reason for living and continue to live perfectly? Is it because in our imperfection we gain perfection?

If this is so, we can conclude that positive thinkers do not do more than negative thinkers. They're equal in a sense that both sides have a deep and agreeable point. We need to argue but not in a sense we'll tear each other into pieces. We argue because we need to look at each other's opinion and go into equilibrium.

What's with the fags and bisexuals anyway?

[fade in]
[bax lights a cigarette, lisa drinks her iced tea, habang nagrerelax si gary]

[bax throws cigar on floor]
gary: nyahahaha.
lisa: nyahaha, ang sama mo talaga.
[gary grabs lisa's iced tea and pours it on cigar]
gary: at buhusan natin ng iced tea pagkatapos mo sunugin.
[gary returns lisa's iced tea]
lisa: bastos kayo talaga! kadiri...
gary at bax: nyahahaha... apir tayo dyan.
lisa: sira kayo talaga.
[bell rings]
lisa: uy,may class na ako, sige. kita kita nalang mamaya...
[lisa leaves]
[gary and bax looks at each other]
[gary aakbayan si bax]
[bax holds gary's hands]
[bax and gary smiles at each other]
[bax wispers to gary]
bax: mamaya ah..
[bax taps gary's face, moves back]
[bax lights a cigarette]
[gary lights a cigarette]

[fade out]

hindi ito comedy or kung ano, its not suppose to be funny, its just one of my short film ideas. kayo na maganalyze. ty, may class na rin ako sa wakas!
